The lips and the mouth are areas of the face that are commonly affected by wrinkles and lines. The placement of treatment differs between patients because each patient is different, but some of the problems that can be treated are:
- Drooping at the corners of the mouth
- Wrinkles around the lips
- Wrinkles formed by smiling (Nasolabial folds)
- Lines that extend down from the corners of the mouth (Marionette folds)
As a form of lip augmentation, Juvederm is an affective way to plump up your lips.
How it works?
Botulinum Toxin and Juvederm are used for treatment and both work in different ways. Whilst Botulinum is injected into the muscles and stops signals being transmitted to the muscles, Juvederm is a natural, non toxic substance produced by the body which increses the volume of the face.
