One example of such a treatment is Invisalign. How does Invisalign work?
Invisalign is a clear plastic aligner system, which our dentist in Canary Wharf may use to treat your teeth. The aligners are made bespoke for your mouth, using iTero technology to digitally scan your mouth to obtain the measurements for them. From this, you can also see a video of what your teeth will look like after the treatment is finished, before you’ve commenced wearing the aligners. It can be an exciting look into the future to see your amazing smile! The aligners are worn over your teeth and should be as comfortable as possible to wear, because they are made to measure. When they are being worn, only the teeth should be visible to others through the clear plastic. What’s more, the aligners push the teeth into the targeted position and all you will need to do is to change your aligners every couple of weeks. During this time, you are also able to remove the aligners each day for a couple of hours.
Removable convenience
You should find it very convenient to be able to remove the aligners each day, because it means that you won’t have to eat whilst wearing them. You won’t have to clean food off them and you won’t need to avoid eating any particular foods for fear of breaking the aligners. You will also be able to clean your teeth without your aligners in your mouth and this should mean that you don’t develop any issues with your oral health.
